Police arrests manager, workers following robbery attack on filling station
Robbers are reported to have
attacked a filling station around the Ejigbo area of Lagos state, making
away with about N9m on a motorcycle.

reports that the incident had occurred last week, as the staff of the
filling station prepared to take the proceeds of 3 days worth of sales,
to the bank.
Residents of the area are reported to
have speculated that the robbers only had access to the information
pertaining to the movement of cash, by an insider.
According
to eye witness accounts, the robbers had struck at about 4pm on that
fateful day, pointing a gun at the manager's head and demanding for the
cash stacked in a big sack.
As soon as the money was handed over, they jumped on their motorcycle, speeding off.
Following
the robbery, the filling station has been shut down and the manager and
the staffs of the filling station, arrested and taken in for
interrogations.
The suspects were initially arrested by the Ejigbo Police division but were later transferred to the SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.
