Following the alleged complicity of some staff of the  Independent National Electoral Commission in the manipulations of the 2015 Rivers and Akwa Ibom State Governorship polls,  a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Segun Osinkolu, has advised INEC to be neutral during the Saturday’s governorship poll in Bayelsa State.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday said it would not have lost the last presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari if the party’s women wing had a significant role to play before and during the election. The party added that what would happen to the PDP in the future largely “depends on the women because they are more committed, more determined, more understanding, more patient and more futuristic in politics.
