A 64-year-old woman jumped off the sixth floor of a hotel in Umhlanga, north of Durban, South Africa, on Wednesday morning, December 9. (Photo of her body being recovered by the South African Police above). Police spokesperson said the woman plunged to her death at around 09:00. "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. An inquest docket has been opened for investigation at Duban North SAPS," said Zwane. It is not yet confirmed if the woman was a guest at the tourist hotel

Real Madrid was last week expelled out of the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player, Cherishev and Barcelona player Gerard Pique, known to cause controversy in Spanish football, went on Twitter to show his happiness at Madrid's woes. Pique posted laughing enoji on Twitter last week just after news filtered in that Madrid will be expelled from the tournament.

Decomposing bodies of 6 women found inside canal in Lagos

The Lagos state police command says it has discovered the decomposing bodies of six women inside a canal in Ikorodu Lagos State. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Joseph Offor said the decomposing bodies of the yet to be identified women ‎were found in a canal at Anibaba area, off Akele Street, Ikorodu, at about 3.30 p.m. on Sunday December 6th. He added that Lagos State environmental agency officials have since removed the corpses to a public mortuary for autopsy. No arrest had been made in connection with the deaths.
