President Jonathan described the late Chief Allwell Eruani as an accomplished person who had raised and mentored successful children across the state, including his son and celebrated entrepreneur of the Niger Delta extraction, Dr Azibapu Eruani who is the Group President of Azikel Group.

According to Punch, public funds that have been returned by some past government officials who looted the treasury while in power are currently with the Central Bank of Nigeria. President Muhammadu Buhari during an interactive session he had with members of the Nigerian community in the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously said that some past government officials who stole public funds had started returning parts of their loot voluntarily. However, he did not disclose the identities of the former government officials who have so far returned parts of the looted fund or the amount returned to the public treasury.

A newborn baby girl buried alive near a California riverbed was rescued after a worried passerby heard her muffled cries. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, found the baby who was buried alive on Friday evening near a riverbed located between 136th Street and Slater Avenue, in the city of Compton, California. On Friday, November 27, 2015, around 4:00 PM, Compton Sheriff’s Station ... received a call for service stating people heard a baby crying in the riverbed, which travels north and south, between 136th Street and Slater Avenue, in the city of Compton. Deputies Perry and Collette responded to the call and canvassed the area. As they searched, deputies heard a baby’s muffled cry and located a newborn baby girl buried alive under pieces of asphalt and rubble inside a crevice located along the bike path.
