President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday recounted how one of his predecessors, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo “tolerated him” when he was the Head of State.The President, who spoke in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, as the special guest at the 40th anniversary of the state, went down memory lane on how Obasanjo appointed him minister of petroleum and tolerated him for three and half years.

Residents of Ohufu village, Ogboji community in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State were Saturday, thrown into mourning as eight family members lost their lives in a fire outbreak.The inferno which occurred at about 3am, razed two thatched houses where the family members were sleeping, New Telegraph reports.
