Who Wins 7 Slots at Dance with Peter TV Show

As the Globacom-sponsored reality TV competition, Dance With Peter, draws to a hyper close, the 10 remaining contestants will this weekend slug it out in a bid to emerge among the final seven that would proceed to the grand finale next week. The contestants who will slug it out include C-Fly, Julius Fakta, G-Xtreme, Tee Jay, T-Rubber, Amazing Amy, Kelvin, Miracle, Da Octopus and Mali Hot Boy. These ten have survived twelve weeks of intense competition in the academy.

The theme for this week’s competition is Contemporary African Dance. Three of the ten remaining dancers will exit the competition at this stage, with the rest seven going ahead to fight for a slot out of the five slots available in the Grand Finale.

Viewers of this weekend edition will find out who among Kelvin, Teejay, Julius Faktah, T-Rubber and Miracle who were put on probation in the last edition will make it and who will go home. The show will be broadcast on African Magic Urban (Channel 153 on DSTV) at 7 p.m. today.  Viewers can also watch it on African Independent Television (AIT) at 5 p.m on Sunday and on MTV Base on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The public can vote for their preferred contestant by sending his or her code to 55518 at the cost of N50 per SMS. Voting lines are open from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 12 midnight on Monday.

Dance Director, Wale Rubber, said the focus this week was meant to showcase the rich African culture through dance and examine the ability of the housemates to switch and adapt to African music and dance.

Glo ambassador, Van Vicker, is expected to be the guest judge in this week’s episode. “I came here to be entertained and have fun, I just want to see raw dance talents from the contestants,” he declared.
