Rooney and Schneiderlin miss Man Utd clash with Wolfsburg

Manchester United will be without Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin for their crucial Champions League clash against Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.The Red Devils need a victory in Germany to secure their place in the last-16 of the competition, but will have to do it without their captain, Rooney, as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
Schneiderlin, meanwhile, was forced off with a hip problem against West Ham on Saturday and is not fit enough to play in Germany.
There is also a surprise place in the 19-man squad for Nick Powell, who is yet to make a first team appearance this season, while youngsters Guillermo Varela, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Sean Goss and Andreas Pereira have also been named in the travelling party.
United are second in Group B, one point adrift of leaders Wolfsburg and a single point clear of third-placed PSV, though the Dutch club have a better head-to-head record having drawn with and beaten Louis van Gaal's side.
