In UK 1 dead, 3 seriously injured in Christmas day pub brawl
Police in the Birmingham area have launched an
investigation into the occurrence following the terrifying attack which
took place on Christmas morning. Police already began intense scouring
of the area for clues after the incident
The mass
pub brawl was quite a deadly one, leaving a man dead after he was
pitilessly stabbed in the chest and another unconscious after being
brutally battered at the Old Horns Pub, Birmingham.
The two men have been left with serious injuries following the ugly fight - which is thought to have happened just before 1am.
Police
officers were called and alerted to the incidence at Queslett Road,
Great Barr, Birmingham, address of the Old Horns pub, following reports
of a brawl.
At the prompt arrival of the cops, a
22-year-old local man was found who had been viciously stabbed in the
chest and a 20-year-old man, who also lives locally, had been knocked to
the ground, unconscious.
The Birmingham Mail
reports that both men were taken to hospital where the medical
practitioners declared their condition as stable.
The area of the incidence was cordoned-off while
forensic experts conducted their search for any clues which might make
it possible for them to come up with any lead on the crime, and which
may potentially lead to some arrests of persons that might have gotten
away after the mass brawl got really messy.
Furthermore,
to hasten up the search for evidence, CCTV footage from the area is
also being reviewed, witnesses are being spoken to and house-to-house
inquiries conducted.
The Police department went
further to leave a number for anyone with any information which may aid
the Detective in Charge of the case, Constable Stanley, saying such
person should not hesitate to call him on the number which made
available to members of the public.
For persons
scared to declare their identity, the department also left certain
numbers for anonymous passage of helpful information.
