Four persons arrested in connection with matron’s abduction in Ondo
The Ondo State Police Command has arrested four persons for allegedly
kidnapping a 53-year-old matron, Mrs. Eralkhuemen Unulkiere who works
with Rubber Estate Nigeria Limited located at Araromi Obu in Odigbo
Local Government Area of the state.
Those apprehended in connection with the abduction include, Tosin Adenikiju,Abiodun Olabowale, Omoniyi Akinsoyimi and Olatunji Igbekele,
Disclosing this, the state Police spokesperson, Mr Femi Joseph said the suspects made confessional statements after they were arrested and the victim rescued.
According to the police spokesperson, the suspects were arrested by detectives deployed to the creek by the state police command.
He noted that the victim was rescued through what he termed, “a well coordinated intelligence gathering,” adding that no ransom was paid.
“The woman was rescued last night unhurt and without any ransom paid by the anti-kidnapping squad led by DSP Onabanjo Adekunle,” Joseph disclosed.
