Buhari urged to constitute committee to implement National Conference recommendations

A Kaduna based legal practitioner and member, 2014 National Conference, Barrister John Achimugu, has advocated that a committee be set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to take a critical look at the recommendations of the 2014 National Conference with a view to
implement them for the progress of the country.


He told DAILY POST in Kaduna that President Buhari should be patriotic enough to ensure the implementation of the resolutions reached at the
2014 National Conference without considering what politicians would say.

He noted that the 2014 National Conference was one of the best conferences ever organized in the history of the country, stressing
that the composition of membership cut across all segments of the society. “It was the first time that people with diverse opinions came
together for the purpose of discussing national problems and finding solutions there to,” he added.
