Buhari to Declare State of Emergency in the old Eastern Region if….

Information just reaching us indicates that President Muhammadu Buhari is perfecting plans to declare a state of Emergency in the entire old Eastern region following the rising agitation for Biafra in the region.


A Presidency source who does not want to be named informed our reporter that the President is greatly disturbed with the growing agitation and is planning a military crackdown by declaring a state of emergency in the region if the protests become violent.
Recall that President Buhari had a fortnight ago issued ultimatum to the Governors of the South East on Biafra, and may use their ‘inability’ to stop the Biafra agitation as a justification to sack them through the declaration of state of emergency in the region.
