Amaechi Ndili’s New Project
By January 2016, the quintessential
businessman, Amaechi Ndili would have kick-started his hospitality
academy: African Hospitality Academy.
At the moment, finishing touches are being put to the academy which
will serve as a learning ground for graduates interested in hospitality
business. But more importantly, Ndili who is well schooled in
hospitality business seeks to groom seasoned professionals in the
industry.
The institution will share the same ground with his hotel facility,
Golden Tulip Hotels in Festac town, Lagos, and well-equipped to meet the
demands of working in a digital age. Moreover, the lecturers are a
delectable mix of Nigerians and foreigners. Courses offered are spread
across four semesters which will run for 18 months and the students have
access to loan facilities. But the good part of the academy apart from
it being residential is that the students are guaranteed job placements
after graduating.
Ndili’s new project testifies to his unfailing and efficient
entrepreneurial skills that have led to various establishments. He is
the founder of Lionstone Group- a premier investment and holding company
operating in the West African region with a number of subsidiaries
focused on oil & gas, hotels & hospitality, healthcare and real
estate. He is presently the Chairman of Golden Tulip Hotels West
Africa.
Prior to Lionstone Group, Amaechi was a Managing Director in the Real
Estate Group at GE Capital Corporation. The businessman gained his
academic qualifications from University of Nigeria where he bagged an
M.Sc and B.Sc in Architecture. He also has an MBA from Wharton.
