A human rights group known as the Centre for Human Eights and Social Justice (CHRSJ) has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to prosecute the new Ooni of Ife, Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi, based on the allegations of forgery.

The Punch reports that Adeniyi Sulaiman, the chairman of the group, wrote a letter to the chairman of the EFCC on Monday, November 2.
In a letter, a copy of which was sent to President Muhammadu Buhari, the CHRSJ noted that the allegations were weighty and called for immediate prosecution.
Sulaiman stressed that the allegation of forgery, fraudulent conversion and obtaining of N400 million against Prince Ogunwusi and his company should be thoroughly investigated.
The group warned the commission that if it failed to begin the prosecution after seven days of receipt of the letter, the CHRSJ would get court injunction to compel the EFCC to prosecute the new Ooni of Ife.
